Applegate a Certified Master Inspector
Randy Applegate of Gloucester is now retired from Inspections. Heis credentialed as a Certified Master Inspector—the industry’s top professional designation for home and commercial inspectors. The certification was awarded by the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors. Mr. Applegate is still available for private consultation.

In order to earn this designation, Applegate was required to complete more than 1,000 residential and commercial inspections, undergo proper continuing education, be in the inspection business for more than 20 years, abide by the industry’s code of ethics, and be vetted via periodic background checks.

Applegate Home Inspections, which was co-owned by his wife Pamela, had been serving Ohio and the surrounding Virginia communities since 1998, specializing in historic home and new construction inspections, with an emphasis on energy savings. The firm’s primary coverage area included the Middle Peninsula, as well as portions of the Northern Neck and Peninsula.
